How do time zones work with a team in India?
India is on a single time zone. UAE teams overlap almost the whole working day, UK and European teams share several hours, and US teams usually overlap in the early morning US time. Agree fixed overlap hours and a written handover routine.
Who owns the code written by an Indian team?
You do, if the contract says so. Ownership does not transfer automatically to a client in every case: include a clear assignment of intellectual property, confidentiality and source code access in the agreement.
How fast can a team start?
A project team with an existing company can often start within a few weeks. A dedicated team built around your needs takes longer, because of hiring. An offshore development center of your own takes longest.
